Welcome to WAWR – Recover Deleted Messages ("we", "our", "us"), developed by WhatSave Tech. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your choices when using WAWR. By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.

We do not collect, store or use any personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials when you use the App. Any personal information you voluntarily submit (for example, via contacting support) is used solely to respond to your requests and improve our services.

3. Non‑Personal Information
We may collect non‑personal information to enhance and optimize your experience:

  • Device Details: Hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifier (Android ID), app version.

  • Usage Data: Installed apps’ package names, install dates, frequency of use, feature interactions, crash reports, ANRs, and performance metrics (via Firebase Analytics or similar).

  • Network Data: IP address, network type, connectivity status.

If combined with any personal information, the combined data will be treated as personal information under this policy.

4. Information from Your Use of Services
We may collect information about how you view and interact with the App, such as which screens you access and which features you use. This helps us diagnose issues and improve functionality.

5. Permissions and Advertising ID
To provide core features, WAWR requests the following permissions:

  • Notification Access: Read incoming notifications to detect and recover deleted messages.

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Access device storage to save recovered media files.

  • INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (optional): Check for updates, retrieve anonymous analytics, and detect connectivity.

  • Message Recovery: Process notification data to restore deleted texts and media.

  • Local Storage: Save recovered messages, photos, videos, and documents on your device.

  • Performance & Stability: Diagnose crashes and optimize app speed.

  • Product Improvement: Analyze anonymous usage data to prioritize new features.

  • Support & Surveys: With your permission, send surveys to improve our products.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or non‑personal data.

  • Service Providers: We may share non-personal analytics with Firebase or similar services under strict confidentiality agreements.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights.

8. Data Retention and Security

  • Local Retention: All recovered messages and media files are stored only on your device. We do not retain these files on our servers.

  • Crash Logs: Retained up to 12 months for diagnostics.

  • Security Measures: Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Stored data resides in Android’s secure, app‑specific directories.

9. User Content
All content you view, share, or recover using the App (“User Content”) is your responsibility. You agree that you have the right to access and process such content. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

10. App Content
Content included or shared by WhatSave Tech (e.g., ads, status uploads) is provided under license or with permission from the original owners. We respect intellectual property rights and remove infringing content if notified.

11. Your Rights and Choices

  • Permission Control: Enable or disable notification or storage permissions anytime in Android Settings. Recovery features will be disabled if permissions are revoked.

  • Data Deletion: You can delete recovered messages and media by removing corresponding files from your device or via the App’s file manager.

  • Opt‑Out of Ads Personalization: Reset your Advertising ID or opt-out via your device settings.

12. Children’s Privacy
WAWR is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us to request deletion.

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in app features or legal requirements. We will post updates in the Google Play listing and notify you within the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
